My name is Jason Boone, the owner of One Way Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning in Geneseo, Illinois.
I was born and raised in Geneseo. My mom was widowed and went from being stay-at-home mom to having to work 3 jobs in order to provide for her 8 children. She understood the value of a dollar and the importance of family. It is from her that I learned the value of hard work, determination, and commitment.
As a teenager, I met my wife and we have been together over 30 years and have 3 children together.
I graduated from St. Ambrose University in 2002 with degrees in Public Administration and Sociology. Then, in 2004, I received my master’s degree in Sociology from Western Illinois University.
After completing my education, my wife and I decided I should go into business for myself, opening One Way Carpet and Upholstery Cleaning in 2004.
In 2012, I decided that I needed to hire another technician. Bruce Redding has been with us ever since. He is friendly, experienced, and trustworthy and I couldn’t ask for anyone better to help take care of our customers. We truly enjoy meeting and establishing relationships with many different people.
Then, in December of 2021, John Shambaugh, owner of Hamstra Carpet Cleaning in Morrison, decided to retire after many years of being in the carpet cleaning business. We purchased his business and continue to provide the great carpet and upholstery cleaning services to Whiteside County and surrounding areas that his customers have come to expect.
